NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing pursuant to Sections 854(4), 859-a(2) and 859-a(3) of the General Municipal Law of New York, as amended, will be held by the Putnam County Industrial Development Agency (the “Agency”) on the 23rd day of February, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., local time, at the Kent Town Hall, 25 Sybil’s Crossing, Kent Lakes, New York 10512 in connection with the following matter:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing pursuant to Sections 854(4), 859-a(2) and 859-a(3) of the General Municipal Law of New York, as amended, will be held by the Putnam County Industrial Development Agency (the “Agency”) on the 23rd day of February, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., local time, at the Patterson Town Hall, 1142 Route 311, Patterson, New York 12563 in connection with the following matter:
PATTERSON CROSSING REALTY COMPANY, LLC, a limited liability company duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, having offices at 1699 Route 6, Suite 1, Carmel, New York 10512 (the “Company”), has requested that the Agency provide financing for the Company in the form of tax-exempt and/or taxable industrial development revenue bonds in an aggregate amount not to exceed Fifty-Five Million and 00/100 Dollars ($55,000,000) (the “Bonds”), to be used to finance a certain project (the “Project”), consisting of the following:
(a) The construction of new buildings, comprised of approximately 410,560 square feet on approximately 90 acres, to be used as retail, retail service and office space, and the installation of certain equipment to be used by the Company in connection therewith, all to be used for commercial purposes and to be located at Route 311 in the Towns of Patterson and Kent, Putnam County, New York;
(b) Paying certain incidental expenses, including costs of issuance, incurred in connection therewith; and
(c) Granting of certain other financial assistance available pursuant to Section 874 of the N.Y. General Municipal Law, as amended, including, but not limited to, certain real property taxation relief, sales and use tax exemptions, and mortgage recording tax exemption.
The Agency will at the above-stated time and place hear all persons with views in favor of or opposed to the issuance of the Bonds, the location or nature of the Project and the granting of other financial assistance in connection with the Project. Interested parties may present their views with respect to the Project both orally and in writing at the public hearing. Written comments may also be sent to the Agency’s offices so they are received no later than the public hearing date set forth above.
A copy of the Company’s application for financial assistance is available for review by the public at the offices of the Putnam County Industrial Development Agency located at 34 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512 (telephone: (845) 228-8066) during the Agency’s normal business hours.
